Why hello there! So some background. Currently drive an ‘11 S4 w/ 40K miles, and is still under CPO warranty for another year. I owe some money on it still. I have a dog. She likes room in the car....and the bucket seats in the rear aren’t really her thing. My parents have a house in FL so we’d like to drive our pup down there every so often.

So i’ve been poking around at some SUV options.

1- Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited V6 or Diesel - The V6 is obviously cheaper but the Diesel goes so far on a tank!

2 CPO Audi Q5 2.0 or TDI - same claim as above...however the 2.0 engine gets fantastic gas mileage

3- Toyota 4 runner...because trucky SUV.

4- Keep current sexy black fast car.

Thoughts? Thanks :) SRT Below. Want so bad.

Why not a Golf/Jettw TDI wagon? :p

Keep your car, fold seats down when the dog is with you? Not sure if that would work but it sounds like it would be more comfortable.

Respectfully, Nah :) The only wagons i’d do (and cannot afford) are an RS6 or E63 AWD.

Tried it! Unfortunately seats are pretty thick so her head touches the roof which isn’t safe.

I don’t think an SUV fits your needs. You have a dog, and want some bigger rear seats. Even a VW Golf would handle those easily. But hey, America right?

Keep the s4 and buy and old 4 runner. Winter car (if applicable) or cheap hauler.

So, if you not really need to change your car. And you do care a lot for your dog, may I suggest you the Element Dog Friendly edition!

That’s my hunch....the car I wish dropped in price (come on depreciation!) is the SQ5.

Or get the Sq5. I promise you’ll miss the power and refinement.
